Conductive Alliance formed in 2007, when long time friends Dan Larson, Eli McLaughlin, and Edgar Castellán began composing music on acoustic instruments that evolved into short, powerful arrangements. The addition of Nicholas Hill on upright bass added color and support to the group's intricate grooves. The band now hungrily seeks out undiscovered sounds, moving beyond their original instruments. Electronics, traditional ethnic instruments, and even children's toys are used in inventive songwriting.
